I had a bit of a tough time figuring out how to make the player object work, but learned that I could change the angle constraints of the hinge joint it uses in code. That wasn't the only thing requiring fixing, though. I tried using physics materials to make the player object actually move across the screen a little bit, but that did not provide substantial enough movement. Alongside these physics materials, I added code to add force to the object in a certain direction and I gave certain parts of the platforms triggers to change the direction this force is applied to the object, just to make it move a little further. I also found some code to have the level switch to the next depending on which scene is active.
